BASIC WAGE RATE. The basic straight time hourly rate for each Pay Group is as provided in Schedule A to this Agreement with effect on the dates as provided therein. The Step 1 rate for each pay group is the rate to be paid to probationary employees and temporary employees regularly assigned to a job classification in such pay group. In addition, an employee who is transferred or permanently promoted to a job classification in a higher pay group shall be paid at the Step 1 rate for the first six (6) months provided the Step 1 rate is greater than the rate for his prior job classification. If the Step 1 rate is less than or equal to his rate for his prior job, he shall immediately be placed at the Step 2 rate of the job classification to which he has been permanently transferred or promoted.

BASIC WAGE RATE. (a) The basic weekly wage rate is the forty (40) hour rate assigned to each regular employee and except for employees who are "plus rated" is determined from the employee's assigned pay group and the applicable Wage Schedule attached hereto and made a part hereof. The basic hourly rate is one-fortieth (1/40th) of the basic weekly rate.

  • Wage Rate The hourly rates for full-time junior and adult apprentices as set out in this agreement shall apply to school based apprentices except that the school based apprentice for pay purposes will be paid a further 25% of hours to the actual hours worked for off the job training.

  • Wage Rates Contractor shall post a copy of the wage rates at the job site and shall pay the adopted prevailing wage rates as a minimum.   • Overtime Rate In accordance with the applicable wage and hour laws, the overtime rate will be one and one-half (1-1/2) of an employee’s regular rate of pay. The regular rate of pay will not include any allowable exclusions.

  • Wage Rate Payments / Changes During Contract Term The wages to be paid under any resulting Contract shall not be less than the prevailing rate of wages and supplements as set forth by law. It is required that the Contractor keep informed of all changes in the Prevailing Wage Rates during the Contract term that apply to the classes of individuals supplied by the Contractor on any projects resulting from this Contract, subject to the provisions of the Labor Law. Contractor is solely liable for and must pay such required prevailing wage adjustments during the Contract term as required by law.

  • Pay Rate Sick leave pay shall be at the shift straight-time hourly rate.

  • Accrual Rate Compensatory time for employees will accrue at the rate of one and one-half hours for each one hour of overtime worked.

  • Interest Coverage Ratio The Borrower will not permit the Interest Coverage Ratio to be less than 2.75 to 1.0 on the last day of any Fiscal Quarter.
