The Basic Commitments clause sets out the fundamental obligations that each party agrees to uphold under the contract. Typically, this includes requirements such as timely payment, delivery of goods or services, compliance with applicable laws, and maintaining necessary licenses or qualifications. By clearly outlining these essential duties, the clause ensures that both parties understand their core responsibilities, thereby reducing the risk of misunderstandings and disputes.
Basic Commitments. We acknowledge that under the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, we are committed to creating police organisations, predicated on the advice of the Commisioner of the United Nations International Police Task Force (UN IPTF), that are structured and operate according to generally accepted international standards for policing and guarantee respect for internationally accepted human rights.

Basic Commitments. Unless specifically authorized in advance in writing by the Board, neither WMX nor any of its affiliates shall directly or indirectly:
(a) attempt or carry out any Takeover;
(b) propose to ServiceMaster or any other Person any transaction between WMX and ServiceMaster, any of its affiliates and/or its security holders or involving any of its securities or security holders which would constitute a Takeover or which (based on information known to WMX) it is reasonably possible could lead to a Takeover,
(c) endorse or propose that ServiceMaster accept any proposal from any other person which would result in a Takeover or which (based on information known to WMX) it is reasonably possible could lead to a Takeover, or
(d) enter into any discussions, negotiations, arrangements or understandings with or advise, assist, encourage, act in concert with, or otherwise support in any manner any other Person in connection with any activities which it is reasonably possible could lead to a Takeover except that this clause (d) shall not be deemed to prohibit any sale of WMX shares otherwise permitted by this Agreement.
Basic Commitments a. RMV shall perform the Services in accordance with the terms and provisions hereof.
b. In consideration of RMV’s provision of the Services, County shall
(i) compensate RMV for said Services using OCTA Measure M2 grant funds actually received by the County and (ii) facilitate RMV’s receipt of reimbursement payments from existing and future CFDs for those Services which qualify for distribution of funds from said CFDs. In satisfying the foregoing compensation and payment facilitation obligations, County shall comply with the provisions of Section 10, below.
c. RMV may employ contractors and consultants, all of whom shall be professionals duly licensed or registered in the State of California (as appropriate and as legally required), for the accomplishment of the Services specified.
d. RMV's employment of independent consultants/contractors shall not relieve RMV from the performance of its own responsibilities pursuant to this Agreement.
e. County shall authorize RMV to represent County for administration of pre- construction and construction activities necessary for implementation of the Project. Agreement No. __________

Basic Commitments. 1. We shall strictly abide by national laws and regulations and stipulations on honest working.
2. We shall follow the principles of law observance and honesty when participating all your procurement (cooperation) activities, without vitiating the country’s or your legitimate rights and interests.
3. We keep on education of honest working for staff members and enhance their sense of honesty and self-discipline.
4. We or our staff shall not present cash, negotiable securities, payment vouchers or valuable gifts to you or your staff or their relatives.
5. We or our staff shall not obtain the confidential information related to your procurement (cooperation) activities in violation of regulations, or conspired with you or your staff in bid-rigging or other illegal manipulation of procurement (cooperation) activities.
6. We or our staff shall not, for any reason, purchase or provide communication tools, vehicles or high-grade office supplies for you or your staff or their relatives; or for any reason, provide you or your staff or their relatives with vacations, trips, activities in entertainment places or relevant reimbursement, payment of expenses that shall be paid by you or your staff or their relatives.
7. We are not allowed to arrange work for the relatives of your staff.
8. We and our staff shall not commit other illegal acts that hinder normal transactions.
