Basement Slab. The basement slab is 200mm thick on 50mm blinding cast monolithically with the foundations. Watertightness to all "multi-use" areas and electrical plantrooms in the basement is provided by a 100mm delta drain cavity system installed on the slab surface with associated underground drainage. Other plantroom areas are not so provided, in accordance with the CIRIA guidance.
