Baselines. The full M&E Plan shall establish baselines for every Indicator (each a, “Baseline”). Baselines. We compare several baselines to our pro- posed ZAPP method. First, to understand the relevance of continuous-time approximation, we compare against XXXX, a planning-focused predictor that uses linearized dynam- ics and discrete-time collision avoidance [6]; to ensure a TABLE I: Baseline performance on goals/crashes (G/C), average speed (AS), and average solve time (ST). shows that collision checking in continuous time has a positive effect on safety and task completion. The fact that ZAPP w/o DC has more crashes than ZAPP indicates that modeling uncertainty (i.e., reachable sets) is necessary, and that improving predictor robustness is critical for future work. This is further supported by the high crash percentage of MATS w/o DC, which is not acceptable in safety-critical control tasks. Overall, these results indicate that the extension of collision checking to continuous time has a positive effect on safety and robustness to perturbations when planning ego motion in dynamic, multi-agent scenes.
Baselines. 12.1 Upon DER validation, National Grid shall determine applicable Baselines Options available to the Providers Meterable Units based on the Technology Types of the DER the Provider populates it with.

As baselines for different experiments depending on availability and specifics of a dataset we considered the following methods: • IR-based QA systems: AskMSR [41] and AskMSR+ [195], which select the best answer based on the frequency of entity mentions in retrieved text snippets. • KBQA systems: SemPre [22] and Aqqu [20], which identify possible topic entities of the question, and select the answer from the candidates in the neighborhood of these entities in a KB. • Hybrid system QuASE [186] detects mentions of knowledge base enti- ties in text passages, and uses the types and description information from the KB to support answer selection. • Hybrid system Text2KB [166], which uses textual resources to improve different stages of the KBQA pipeline, described in Section 3.2.
