Common use of Bank Accounts and Investment Clause in Contracts

Bank Accounts and Investment. (a) The bank accounts of the Partnership shall be maintained in such banking institutions as the General Partner shall reasonably determine (which institutions shall not be the General Partner or any of its Affiliates), and withdrawals shall be made only in the regular course of Partnership business in accordance with this Agreement on such signature or signatures as the General Partner may determine. All deposits and other funds not needed in the operation of the business or not yet invested may be invested in U.S. government securities, securities issued or guaranteed by U.S. government agencies, securities issued or guaranteed by states or municipalities, certificates of deposit and time or demand deposits in commercial banks, savings and loan association deposits or bankers’ acceptances. The funds of the Partnership shall not be commingled with the funds of any other Person (including the General Partner or any Affiliate of the General Partner).
