BAGGAGE LIABILITY Sample Clauses

The Baggage Liability clause defines the extent to which a carrier or service provider is responsible for loss, damage, or delay of passengers' baggage during transit. Typically, this clause sets monetary limits on compensation, outlines exclusions for certain types of items, and may require passengers to report issues within a specific timeframe. Its core function is to allocate risk between the carrier and the passenger, providing clarity on compensation and helping to manage expectations in the event of baggage-related incidents.
