Back to Back Shifts Clause Samples
The 'Back to Back Shifts' clause establishes that work shifts are scheduled consecutively, often with minimal or no gap between them. In practice, this means an employee may be required to finish one shift and immediately begin another, such as working a late-night shift followed by an early morning shift. This clause is typically used to ensure continuous coverage or to address operational needs, but it also clarifies expectations and responsibilities regarding scheduling, helping to prevent misunderstandings about shift assignments and rest periods.
