Common use of Award or Decision Clause in Contracts

Award or Decision. The Arbitrator shall make a written award or decision permitted under this Agreement. The award or decision of the Arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties, whether participating in the proceeding or not. The Arbitrator is directed to make all reasonable efforts to make his or her award within fifteen (15) days following completion of the arbitration hearing. The parties agree that any judge the New York Supreme Court or the United States District Court sitting in New York County or of the San Diego County Superior Court or of the United States District Court sitting in San Diego shall have the power to enforce or enter judgment based on the Arbitrator’s award.
