Automatic Layoff. Employees, who work on the basis of the academic year, shall be laid off for the school vacation periods. The layoff will be deemed to be effective following the last paid holiday as prescribed by Article 7.01 b) during the vacation period. This article shall serve as notice of layoff and recall for the months of July and August during the term of this agreement.
