Common use of Authorizer Fee Clause in Contracts

Authorizer Fee. The AUTHORIZER shall monitor and evaluate the fiscal, operational, and student academic performance of the CHARTER SCHOOL as specified in 124.10 and will for these purposes assess the CHARTER SCHOOL an annual fee. The total annual fee payable to the AUTHORIZER shall be the maximum fee allowed by Minnesota Statues section 124E.10 which is calculated as follows: The fee that an authorizer may annually assess is the greater of: (1) the basic formula allowance for that year; or (2) the lesser of: (i) the maximum fee factor times the basic formula allowance for that year; or (ii) the fee factor times the basic formula allowance for that year times the charter school’s adjusted pupil units for that year. The fee factor equals .015. The maximum fee factor equals 4.0. The fee will be billed to the school during the month of June based on year end pupil units and payment is due to the AUTHORIZER BY THE 30th of the same month.
