Authorized Signer. An Agency may have someone who is not an Agency Manager act in the role of “Authorized Signer”. They can act on behalf of the Agency, execute the Agency Agreement (Monetary), and perform other duties related to this Agreement as needed. Authorized Signers are not licensed Agents; they cannot access CalHEERs to perform enrollment assistance, or any other duties that require licensure from the California Department of Insurance. Authorized Signers can perform the following duties: a. Complete and submit Book of Business Transfer form requests for transfers outside of the Agency; b. Request changes to the Agency Agreement; and c. Add additional Agency Managers An Agency can only have one (1) Authorized Signer.
