AUTHORIZATION FOR REPAIRS Clause Samples
The Authorization for Repairs clause grants permission for specified parties, typically the property owner or their agent, to arrange and approve necessary repairs to a property. In practice, this clause outlines who has the authority to initiate repairs, what types of repairs are covered (such as urgent safety issues or routine maintenance), and may set limits on costs or require prior approval for expenses above a certain threshold. Its core function is to ensure that essential repairs can be addressed promptly without unnecessary delays, thereby protecting the value and safety of the property while clarifying decision-making authority.
