Authenticated Broadcast. The computation proceeds in superrounds. Superround r is composed of the two rounds 2r and 2r+1. Our authenticated broadcast is defined by two primitives: Broadcast(i, m, r), where i is the identifier of the broadcaster, m is the mes- sage and r is the superround number, and Accept(i, α, m, r) where α is an integer (α is an estimate of the number of pro- cesses with identifier i that have broadcast m in superround r). 0-valent and Cj+1 is not 0-valent.
