Audits of the SCCs Clause Samples

The "Audits of the SCCs" clause establishes the right for one party, typically the data exporter or a supervisory authority, to audit the other party's compliance with the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). This clause usually outlines the conditions under which audits may be conducted, such as providing reasonable notice, limiting audits to business hours, and ensuring confidentiality of findings. Its core function is to provide a mechanism for verifying that data protection obligations under the SCCs are being met, thereby ensuring accountability and compliance with data privacy requirements.
