Audit and accounting. The Council shall ensure that proper books of account and records are kept in respect of each of the Funds administered by it, and that an annual audit of each of the Funds is performed in accordance with the provisions of the Act and the Council’s Constitution.
Audit and accounting. ▇. ▇▇▇▇▇ funded projects are subject to audit by the State of California during the grant term and for up to four (4) years following the termination of the Grant Agreement. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ agrees that OPR, the Department of Finance, the Bureau of State Audits, or their designated representative(s) shall have the right to review and to copy any records and supporting documentation pertaining to the performance of this Grant Agreement. The audit may consist of examining and auditing pertinent books, documents, papers, and records including financial transactions and supporting documents, general accounting systems, internal controls, management practices, policies, and procedures pertaining to the performance of this Grant Agreement. Grantee shall be given advance notice when the grant-funded Project is selected for an audit or review by OPR, the Department of Finance, the Bureau of State Audits, or their designated representative(s). Grantee agrees to allow the auditor(s) access to such records during normal business hours, excluding State of California holidays, and to allow interviews of any employees who might reasonably have information related to such records.
B. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ further agrees to comply with Government Code section 8546.7 in its interactions with co-applicants and subgrantees and be aware of the penalties for violations of fraud and for obstruction of investigation as set forth in Public Contract Code section 10115.10.
C. Partners and subcontractors of the Grantee who are paid with grant funds under the terms of this Grant Agreement shall be responsible for maintaining accounting records as specified above. Grantee shall include a term in all contracts to that effect.
Audit and accounting. 12.1 Each Partner shall be responsible for the accounting and audit of their own Financial Contribution to the Pooled Fund. For the avoidance of doubt, each Partner’s accounting and audit information in relation to its Financial Contribution shall not be Pooled Fund Information for the purposes of Clause 17.

The Contractor shall provide complete, daily oversight and reconciliation of all aspects of transaction processing and shall be held financially accountable for any loss of funds. This monitoring of the effectiveness and accuracy of Contractor functions shall include, but not be limited to:
3.29.1 Monitoring and oversight of Subcontractor(s) service delivery.
3.29.2 Auditing and reconciliation of citations suspended by Contractor's staff.
3.29.3 Correcting erroneous data.
3.29.4 Reconciling all deposits.
3.29.5 Monitoring and reconciling payments received from the DMV.
3.29.6 Making refunds and adjustments.
3.29.7 Processing non-sufficient funds checks.
3.29.8 Balancing revenue distribution reports.
3.29.9 Control, quality assurance, and distribution of all reports required by the Department.
3.29.10 Effective management of System security.

The Grantee shall use adequate fiscal control and accounting procedures to disburse properly all funds provided by the State Library pursuant to this Agreement. The Grantee shall deposit unused funds provided pursuant to this Agreement in an interest bearing account and use any accrued interest from the account for the work and services to be provided pursuant to this Agreement.
