Auctioning. 1. Allowances shall be sold by the Parties through auctioning only.
2. Operators under either ETS shall be eligible to apply for admission to bid in auctions for allowances. Access to such auctions for operators under either ETS shall be given on a non-discriminatory basis. To ensure the integrity of the auctions, the eligibility to apply for admission to the auctions may only be extended to other categories of participants that are regulated under the laws of a Party or that are specifically authorised to participate in auctions.
3. Auctioning shall be conducted in an open, transparent and non-discriminatory manner and according to the criteria set out in Annex I, Part D.

Auctioning importers’ shares are allocated, or licences issued, largely on the basis of an auctioning or competitive bid system. The GATT compatibility of auctioning systems has been questioned.
Auctioning. CIFCL and its associates shall auction the vehicles/equipments seized from/ surrendered by its borrowers through this Website. CIFCL may advice the User to pay security deposit and/or execute additional documents in the manner acceptable to it for participating in the auction. On the User buying a vehicle/equipment by participating in the auction, either online or offline, he/she acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of Auction. The terms and conditions of Auction shall be in addition to the terms of this Agreement.
