Appropriate academic qualifications in the discipline for which the Faculty Member has been hired, such as a Masters or PhD Degree, or an equivalent combination of education, experience and professional practice; • normally, a minimum of two years relevant teaching experience at the post- secondary level; • a suitable record of professional practice or scholarly activity. An Assistant Professor may apply for the rank of Associate Professor after a minimum of three years as an Assistant Professor. In exceptional circumstances, a lesser period may be considered.
