Common use of Assistant Officers Clause in Contracts

Assistant Officers. Unless otherwise provided by the Board of Directors, each Assistant Officer shall perform such duties as shall be prescribed by the Board of Directors, the Chairman of the Board, the President or the Officer to whom he/she is an Assistant. In the event of the absence or disability of an Officer or his/her refusal to act, his/her Assistant Officer shall, in the order of their rank, and within the same rank in the order of their seniority, have the powers and authorities of such Officer.
