Assistance Unit Clause Samples
The Assistance Unit clause defines the group of individuals whose income and resources are considered together when determining eligibility for certain benefits or assistance programs. Typically, this unit includes immediate family members living in the same household, such as parents and their children, but may also extend to other dependents or relatives as specified by program rules. By clearly identifying whose financial information is counted, the clause ensures accurate assessment of need and prevents both under- and over-allocation of benefits.
