Common use of Assignments and Notices Clause in Contracts

Assignments and Notices. Neither this Lease nor Lessee's rights hereunder shall be assignable except with Lessor's written consent; the conditions hereof shall bind any permitted successors and assigns of Lessee. Lessor may assign this Lease without consent of Lessee. Lessee, after receiving notice of any assignment, shall abide thereby and make payment as may therein be directed. Following such assignment, solely for the purpose of determining assignor's rights hereunder, the term "Lessor" shall be deemed to include or refer to Lessor's assignee. All notices relating hereto shall be delivered in person to an officer of Lessor or Lessee or shall be mailed to Lessor or Lessee at its respective address herein shown or at any later address last known to the sender.
