ASSIGNMENT FOLLOWING COMPLETION Sample Clauses

The "Assignment Following Completion" clause defines the conditions under which rights or obligations under a contract may be transferred to another party after the contract's completion. Typically, this clause specifies whether the original party can assign their interests, such as payment rights or warranties, to a third party once all contractual duties have been fulfilled. For example, a contractor might assign their right to receive final payment to a lender after finishing a project. The core function of this clause is to provide clarity and control over post-completion assignments, ensuring all parties understand when and how contractual interests can be transferred, thereby preventing disputes or unauthorized assignments.
