Assignment by the Development Entity Sample Clauses

The "Assignment by the Development Entity" clause defines the conditions under which the development entity may transfer its rights and obligations under the agreement to another party. Typically, this clause outlines whether the development entity needs the other party's consent to assign the contract, and may specify exceptions such as assignments to affiliates or in connection with a merger or sale of the business. Its core practical function is to provide clarity and control over who may assume the development entity's contractual responsibilities, thereby protecting the interests of all parties involved and preventing unwanted or unapproved transfers.
