Assigned on call duty may be exchanged with or given to another Public Health Inspector, provided that written notice is given to the Supervisor. It is the responsibility of the person initially scheduled to be on-call to find a replacement, based on seniority, if an on-call duty is being given away. The initially assigned PHI will advise either Program Assistant in the HET in writing, who will maintain a record of who has received extra on-call duties and ensure the extra shift is offered to the next in line in the seniority list (starting with the most senior).
