ASSIGN A QUEST. SELECT A MISSION‌ The main activity in BEACONING is to play lesson paths grouped in narrative units. The overall components (lesson path + narrative) are called quests. Quests are meant to be standalone but often several will be created around a specific STEM topic. A group of the quests related to a specific STEM topic will be called a mission. To complete a mission it will be required to complete all quests/lesson paths belonging to this mission. As a consequence the first action that a teacher will undertake would firstly to go through a STEM topic selection (Figure 5), as well as a STEM subtopic selection (Figure 5Figure 5). From there they will access a list of available missions. Each mission’s interest and parameters will be presented from a pedagogical point of view The key information to be displayed for the missions are: - STEM topic it belongs to; - STEM subtopic it belongs to; - Difficulty level; - Number of quests inside the mission; - Skills and competences involved; - Pedagogical context and objective of the mission. ASSIGN A QUEST. SELECT A QUEST‌ Once the teacher has selected a mission, they will access a sub-screen showing the details of the mission, as well as the quests composing the missions. The main parameters of the mission are summarized. The teacher can browse between the different quests details to choose which quest he wants to see more in detail. The key information to be displayed for each quest is (Figure 8): - STEM topic it belongs to; - STEM subtopic it belongs to; - Mission it belongs to; - Difficulty level; - Length; - Collaborative quest? - Quest with geo-localized components? - Average duration of the quest; - Detail about the narrative featured with the quest; - Detail about the challenges featured in the quest.   • SUBLET/ASSIGNMENT The Lessee may not transfer or assign this Lease, or any right or interest hereunder or sublet said leased Premises or any part thereof without first obtaining the prior written consent and approval of the Lessor.

  • Assignment; Subcontracting (a) Except as expressly provided in Section 12(b) below, this Agreement shall not be assignable or delegable, whether by merger, operation of law or otherwise, by any Fund without the written consent of BNY Mellon, or by BNY Mellon without the written consent of the affected Fund, in each case which consent may not be unreasonably withheld. This Agreement shall extend to and shall be binding upon the Parties hereto, and their permitted successors and assigns.

The Commissioner reserves the right to reject any proposed subcontractor, assignee or supplier for bona fide business reasons, which may include, but are not limited to: that the proposed transferee is on the Department of Labor’s list of companies with which New York State cannot do business; the Commissioner determines that the company is not qualified; unsatisfactory contract performance or service has been previously provided; or attempts were not made to solicit minority and women’s business enterprises (M/WBE) bidders for the subcontract.

  • ASSIGNMENT AND SUBCONTRACT 16.1. If any Affiliate of either Party succeeds to that portion of the business of such Party that is responsible for, or entitled to, any rights, obligations, duties, or other interests under this Agreement, such Affiliate may succeed to those rights, obligations, duties, and interest of such Party under this Agreement. In the event of any such succession hereunder, the successor shall expressly undertake in writing to the other Party the performance and liability for those obligations and duties as to which it is succeeding a Party to this Agreement. Thereafter, the successor Party shall be deemed CLEC or Sprint and the original Party shall be relieved of such obligations and duties, except for matters arising out of events occurring prior to the date of such undertaking.

  • Assignment to Lenders Interconnection Customer may, without the consent of the Transmission Provider or the Interconnected Transmission Owner, assign the Interconnection Service Agreement to any Project Finance Entity(ies), provided that such assignment does not alter or diminish Interconnection Customer’s duties and obligations under this Interconnection Service Agreement. If Interconnection Customer provides the Interconnected Transmission Owner with notice of an assignment to any Project Finance Entity(ies) and identifies such Project Finance Entities as contacts for notice purposes pursuant to Section 21 of this Appendix 2, the Transmission Provider or Interconnected Transmission Owner shall provide notice and reasonable opportunity for such entity(ies) to cure any Breach under this Interconnection Service Agreement in accordance with this Interconnection Service Agreement. Transmission Provider or Interconnected Transmission Owner shall, if requested by such lenders, provide such customary and reasonable documents, including consents to assignment, as may be reasonably requested with respect to the assignment and status of the Interconnection Service Agreement, provided that such documents do not alter or diminish the rights of the Transmission Provider or Interconnected Transmission Owner under this Interconnection Service Agreement, except with respect to providing notice of Breach to a Project Finance Entity. Upon presentation of the Transmission Provider and/or the Interconnected Transmission Owner’s invoice therefor, Interconnection Customer shall pay the Transmission Provider and/or the Interconnected Transmission Owner’s reasonable documented cost of providing such documents and certificates. Any assignment described herein shall not relieve or discharge the Interconnection Customer from any of its obligations hereunder absent the written consent of the Interconnected Transmission Owner and Transmission Provider.

  • ASSIGNMENT AND SUBCONTRACTS 12.1 The CONTRACTOR shall not assign his interest in this contract nor sublet nor subcontract any portion of the work. The CONTRACTOR agrees to bind every subcontractor approved by the OWNER to all of the terms and conditions of this agreement. The CONTRACTOR agrees that he is fully responsible to the OWNER for the acts and omissions of his subcontractor, as CONTRACTOR is for the acts and omissions of himself and of persons directly employed by him.
