ASSIGN A QUEST. SELECT A MISSION‌ The main activity in BEACONING is to play lesson paths grouped in narrative units. The overall components (lesson path + narrative) are called quests. Quests are meant to be standalone but often several will be created around a specific STEM topic. A group of the quests related to a specific STEM topic will be called a mission. To complete a mission it will be required to complete all quests/lesson paths belonging to this mission. As a consequence the first action that a teacher will undertake would firstly to go through a STEM topic selection (Figure 5), as well as a STEM subtopic selection (Figure 5Figure 5). From there they will access a list of available missions. Each mission’s interest and parameters will be presented from a pedagogical point of view The key information to be displayed for the missions are: - STEM topic it belongs to; - STEM subtopic it belongs to; - Difficulty level; - Number of quests inside the mission; - Skills and competences involved; - Pedagogical context and objective of the mission. If the teacher selects one specific mission, they will then enter a screen providing more details about the quests of the mission
ASSIGN A QUEST. SELECT A QUEST‌ Once the teacher has selected a mission, they will access a sub-screen showing the details of the mission, as well as the quests composing the missions. The main parameters of the mission are summarized. The teacher can browse between the different quests details to choose which quest he wants to see more in detail. The key information to be displayed for each quest is (Figure 8): - STEM topic it belongs to; - STEM subtopic it belongs to; - Mission it belongs to; - Difficulty level; - Length; - Collaborative quest? - Quest with geo-localized components? - Average duration of the quest; - Detail about the narrative featured with the quest; - Detail about the challenges featured in the quest. If the teacher selects one specific quest, they will then enter a screen providing more details about the quest.

  • Assignment and Subcontracting 11.2.1 Subject to clause 11.2.2, the Collaboration Suppliers will not assign, transfer, novate, sub-license or declare a trust in respect of its rights under all or a part of this Agreement or the benefit or advantage without the prior written consent of the Buyer. 11.2.2 Any subcontractors identified in the Detailed Collaboration Plan can perform those elements identified in the Detailed Collaboration Plan to be performed by the Subcontractors.

  • SUBCONTRACT AND ASSIGNMENT This Agreement binds the heirs, successors, assigns and representatives of the Contractor. The Contractor shall not enter into subcontracts for any work contemplated under this Agreement and shall not assign this Agreement or monies due or to become due, without the prior written consent of the General Manager of the Agency or his designee, subject to any required state or federal approval.   • No Assignment to Borrower No such assignment shall be made to the Borrower or any of the Borrower’s Affiliates or Subsidiaries.

  • Assignment or Subcontracting The terms, covenants, and conditions contained herein shall apply to and bind the heirs, successors, executors, administrators and assigns of the parties. Furthermore, neither the performance of this Contract nor any portion thereof may be assigned or subcontracted by Contractor without the express written consent of County. Any attempt by Contractor to assign or sub-contract the performance or any portion thereof of this Contract without the express written consent of County shall be invalid and shall constitute a breach of this Contract.

  • Assignment and Subcontractors Provider shall not assign, sublet, or transfer this Agreement or any rights under or interest in this Agreement without the prior written consent of the DISTRICT, which may be withheld by the DISTRICT in its sole and absolute discretion for any reason. Nothing contained herein shall prevent Provider from employing independent associates, subcontractors, and sub consultants as Provider may deem appropriate to assist in the performance of services herein, subject to the prior written approval of the DISTRICT. Any attempted assignment, sublease, or transfer in violation of this Agreement shall be null and void, and of no force and affect. Any attempted assignment, sublet, or transfer in violation of this Agreement shall be grounds for the DISTRICT, in its sole discretion, to terminate the Agreement.
