Common use of ARTISTS COVERED Clause in Contracts

ARTISTS COVERED. The MANAGEMENT hereby recognizes AGMA as the exclusive bargaining agent for all Solo Singers; Narrators; Artists engaged to perform mute Leading, Featured, Supporting, and Solo Bit Roles; Stage Directors and their assistants; Stage Managers and their assistants; and performers who have speaking parts (hereinafter referred to as "PRINCIPALS"), all Choreographers and Dancers (hereinafter referred to as "DANCERS") and all Chorus Singers (hereinafter referred to as "CHORISTERS"), Apprentices (hereinafter referred to as “APPRENTICES”), and all hereinafter referred to collectively as "ARTISTS", whose services are used by the MANAGEMENT. The MANAGEMENT and AGMA agree that AGMA represents, for collective bargaining purposes, a majority of the ARTISTS.

The MANAGEMENT Company hereby recognizes AGMA as the exclusive collective bargaining agent for all Solo Singers; Narrators; Artists engaged to perform mute Leadingprincipal singers, Featurednarrators, Supporting, and Solo Bit Roles; Stage Directors and their assistants; Stage Managers and their assistants; and performers who have speaking parts (hereinafter referred to as "PRINCIPALSPrincipals"); stage directors and their associates and assistants, all Choreographers stage managers and Dancers their assistants, and choreographers and their assistants (Assistant Directors, Stage Managers, and Assistant Stage Managers hereinafter referred to as "Production Staff"); principal and corps dancers (hereinafter referred to as "DANCERSDancers") ); and all Chorus Singers chorus singers, including Apprentice Choristers (hereinafter referred to as "CHORISTERSChoristers"), Apprentices (hereinafter engaged by the Company.
