Article References. Unless the contrary intention appears, references in this Agreement to an Article, Section, subsection, paragraph or Schedule by number or letter or both refer to the Article, Section, subsection, paragraph or Schedule, respectively, bearing that designation in this Agreement.
Article References. Unless reference is specifically made to some other document or instrument, all references herein to articles, sections and schedules are to articles, sections and schedules of this Agreement.

Article Bereavement Leave A Bereavement Leave of up to three (3) days with pay will be allowed in the event of a death of an Spouse, Father, Mother, Child, Brother, Sister, Mother-In-Law, Father-In-Law, Son-In-Law, Daughter-In-Law, Sister-In-Law, Brother-In-Law, Grandparent, Grandchildren, Step-Father, Step-Mother, and Step-Children, provided Management has been notified. The provisions of this Article shall not apply where a member already off duty on regular days off, vacation, lieu days, or Statutory Holidays. Notwithstanding the above, the employee will be entitled to the day of the funeral off, with pay.
Article References. Unless otherwise indicated, all references in this Plan of Arrangement to an Article or Section followed by a number or letter or both refer to the specified Article or Section in this Plan of Arrangement.
Article References. The division of this Agreement into Articles, Sections, paragraphs and other subdivisions, the insertion of headings and the provision of a table of contents are for convenience of reference only and shall not affect the construction or interpretation hereof.
