Common use of ARTICLE 1 - PURPOSE Clause in Contracts

ARTICLE 1 - PURPOSE. The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish mutually satisfactory employment relations as set out herein between the Employer and the nurses covered by this Agreement.

ARTICLE 1 - PURPOSE. The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish mutually satisfactory employment and maintain collective bargaining relations as set out herein between the Employer and the nurses Nurses covered by this Agreement, and to provide for an on-going means of communication between the Association and the Employer, and to promote the prompt disposition of grievances, the efficient operation of the Employer's business, and to establish and maintain mutually satisfactory salaries, hours of work, and working conditions for all nurses who are subject to the provisions of this Agreement.

ARTICLE 1 - PURPOSE. 1.01 The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish mutually satisfactory employment relations as set out herein between the Employer and the nurses covered by this Agreement. 1.02 It is recognized that nurses wish to work together with the Employer to secure the best possible nursing care and health protection for residents.

ARTICLE 1 - PURPOSE. The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish mutually maintain and improve satisfactory employment relations as set out herein between the Employer and the registered and graduate nurses covered by this Agreement. It provides for an ongoing means of communication between the Union and the Employer for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual interest. It also provides means for the prompt settlement of grievances and for the final settlement of disputes.
