Archaeological. Due to the Project's location in a high probability Archaeological Conservation Area, the City will require Owner/Assignor or Assignee to obtain a Certificate of Appropriateness, pursuant to Chapter 23 of the City Code, to dig prior to any ground disturbing activities.
Archaeological. Because of the Project's location in a high probability archaeological zone, the City will require Swire to obtain a certificate to dig prior to any ground disturbing activities. However, in no case shall the City require archaeological monitoring after soil/tree removal (i.e., during excavation of the limestone bedrock).
Archaeological. Due to the Project’s classification of High Probability in an Archaeological Conservation Area, the Developer shall obtain a “Certificate to Dig” prior to any ground disturbing activities, pursuant to Chapter 23 of the City Code.

That ground disturbance activities shall be carried out in compliance with an archaeological monitoring plan to be approved by the Department of Land and Natural Resources, State Historic Preservation Division (DLNR, SHPD) or other mitigative measure that may be required. Acceptance by DLNR, SHPD of an Archaeological Monitoring Plan and or other mitigative measure shall be obtained prior to issuance of grading, foundation, or the first building permit and prior to any ground altering activities. Evidence of fulfillment of this condition shall be submitted as part of the Preliminary Compliance Report.

Archaeological. Licensee shall notify Licensor should any cultural resources or human remains be found on the Licensed Property, and when appropriate, shall be responsible for other notifications and legal requirements. All costs are the responsibility of the Licensee.
