Arbitration Costs. 1. The expenses and fees of the arbitrator, and the cost (if any) of the hearing room, will be shared equally by the parties.

Arbitration Costs. All costs of the arbitration will be determined by the tribunal, which may take into account the law and practice of the place of arbitration, and in what manner arbitration costs will be paid, and by whom.

If one party chooses to use a court reporter, the requesting party shall bear the costs associated with the court reporter. A copy will be provided to the arbitrator free of charge. The other party may obtain a copy of the court reporter’s transcript by agreeing to share the cost of the court reporter at the time it makes the request for a copy of the transcript by paying half the costs incurred for that purpose.

If the arbitration hearing is postponed or cancelled because of one party, that party will bear the cost of the postponement or cancellation. If that party purchases a transcript, a copy will be provided to the arbitrator free of charge. If the other party desires a copy of the transcript, it will pay for half (1/2) of the costs of the court reporting fee, the original transcript and the arbitrator’s copy. Each party is responsible for the costs of its attorneys, representatives and witnesses, and all other costs related to the development and presentation of their case. Grievants, Shop Stewards, and their witnesses will not be paid for preparation for travel to or from, or participation in arbitration hearings, but may use leave for such activities.
Arbitration Costs. The costs of the arbitration, including the arbitrator’s fee and court reporter’s fee, shall be equally split among the parties, unless the Arbitrator’s award specifies otherwise.
Arbitration Costs. The arbitrator shall be compensated up to a rate of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500). The cost of the arbitrator shall be paid by the County. Costs of the court reporter, if any, shall be paid by the County.

Other Complaints, Charges or Claims. Nothing in this Article or Agreement restricts the right of either Party to file complaints, charges, claims or the like with the Employment Relations Board or any other State or Federal entity.
Arbitration Costs. The fee and expenses for the arbitrator’s services shall be borne equally by the Employer and by the Union. Each party shall be responsible for compensating its own representatives and witnesses, and purchasing its own copy of the written transcript; however, the cost of the arbitrator’s copy shall be borne equally by the parties.
