APPROVAL OF BOARD OF SUPERVISORS. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY CONTAINED IN THIS LEASE, TENANT ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT NO OFFICER OR EMPLOYEE OF CITY HAS AUTHORITY TO COMMIT CITY TO THIS LEASE UNLESS AND UNTIL CITY'S BOARD OF SUPERVISORS SHALL HAVE DULY ADOPTED A RESOLUTION APPROVING THIS LEASE AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSACTIONS CONTEMPLATED HEREBY. THEREFORE, ANY OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES OF CITY HEREUNDER ARE CONTINGENT UPON ADOPTION OF SUCH A RESOLUTION AND THIS LEASE SHALL BE NULL AND VOID IF CITY'S MAYOR AND THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS DO NOT APPROVE THIS LEASE, IN THEIR RESPECTIVE SOLE DISCRETION. APPROVAL OF THIS LEASE BY ANY DEPARTMENT, COMMISSION OR AGENCY OF CITY SHALL NOT BE DEEMED TO IMPLY THAT SUCH RESOLUTION WILL BE ENACTED, NOR WILL ANY SUCH APPROVAL CREATE ANY BINDING OBLIGATIONS ON CITY.

APPROVAL OF BOARD OF SUPERVISORS. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Lease, Tenant acknowledges and agrees that no officer or employee of City has authority to commit City to this Lease unless and until City’s Board of Supervisors shall have duly adopted a resolution approving this Lease and authorizing the transactions contemplated hereby. Therefore, any obligations or liabilities of City hereunder are contingent upon adoption of such a resolution, and this Lease shall be null and void if City’s Mayor and the Board of Supervisors do not approve this Lease, in their respective sole discretion. Approval of this Lease by any department, commission or agency of City shall not be deemed to imply that such resolution will be enacted, nor will any such approval create any binding obligations on City.

Reasonable notice - sufficient to adequately allow the Hospital to minimize disruption of its services shall be given to the Hospital for such leave of absence. Notwithstanding Article 10.04, there shall be no loss of seniority or service for a nurse during such leave of absence. Leave of absence under this provision shall be in addition to the Union leave provided in Article 11.02

  • Director Approval The Board of Directors of Holdings shall have approved this Agreement and the transactions contemplated herein.

  • Negotiations Committee H.3 At all negotiations meetings with the Employer representatives for a renewal of this Agreement, the Union may be represented by a negotiations committee composed of five (5) bargaining unit members. No deduction from the regular pay of such Employees will be made for attendance at such meetings with the Employer’s representatives held during the Employee's regular working hours. The Union has the right to have up to an additional five (5) members, including Union Officers, on the Negotiating Committee at no cost to the Employer.

  • MINISTRY/SCHOOL BOARD INITIATIVES ETFO will be an active participant in the consultation process to develop a Ministry of Education PPM regarding Ministry/School Board Initiatives.
