Apprentices Act. The Contractor shall be responsible to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the Rules and Orders issued thereunder from time to time in respect of apprentices directly or through xxxxx Contractors or sub- contractors employed by him for the purpose of carrying out the Contract. If the Contractor directly or through xxxxx Contractors or sub-contractors fails to do so, his failure will be a breach of the contract and the Corporation may, in its discretion, rescind the contract. The Contractor shall also be liable for any pecuniary liability arising on accountof any violation of the provisions of the Act.
