Common use of Apprentice Ratios Clause in Contracts

Apprentice Ratios. It is agreed that each Employer shall employ a ratio of one (1) apprentice, when available, to one (1) journeymen on each specific job on which the Employer works. On April 30, 2027, the one-to-one ratio will sunset and revert back to one (1) apprentice for every two (2) journeymen. When layoffs occur, the apprentices may be laid-off in the same ratio as when hired.

On April 30, 2027, The Apprentice can be placed into the one-to-one group ratio will sunset and revert back to of one (1) apprentice for every to two (2) journeymenat any point, so long as the amount of journeymen does not exceed two (2) in a grouping. Apprentices shall be assigned to the individual Employers by the Joint Apprenticeship Committee. When layoffs occur, the apprentices may be laid-off in the same ratio as when hired.
