Apprentice Mechanics. 2. Flight Simulator Technician Craft The follow classifications are part of the Flight Simulator Technician Craft:
Apprentice Mechanics. A. The Standards of Apprenticeship as agreed to by the Company and the Union, in cooperation with representatives of the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training, will be maintained and shall be considered part of this Agreement.
Apprentice Mechanics. 40.07 The Apprentice Mechanic position shall be considered a full time training position and the employment shall end when the Apprentice Mechanic has obtained his/her mechanics licence and EVT certification. The Employer agrees that the Apprentice Mechanic position is a Local 268 Union position and that the Apprentice Mechanic shall pay Union dues and participate in the benefit program. The Apprentice Mechanic is entitled to all benefits under the Collective Agreement except for the following; Article 10 Overtime, other than in an instance where two (2) qualified IAFF mechanics are required and, after going through the overtime list, only one (1) has accepted, and Article 26 Deployment. The Apprentice Mechanic shall be given the required training opportunities to complete their program.
Apprentice Mechanics. Apprentice rate shall be as follows: Starting Wage 75% of Mechanics rate After 9 months 80% of Mechanics rate After 18 months 85% of Mechanics rate After 27 months 90% of Mechanics rate After 36 months 95% of Mechanics rate After 48 months 100% of Mechanics rate
Apprentice Mechanics. 34.01 The Company reserves the right to establish an apprentice mechanics classification.
Apprentice Mechanics. An apprentice will be paid his percentage of the premium rate if he is assigned a repair job falling within any of the above listings. Bodymen and Painters All “P” series vans, motor homes – car rate plus fifty cents per flat rate hour. This will also apply to 4 x 4’s or ¾ tons where substantial modifications have greatly altered normal profile of the vehicle. All vehicles above (1) ton, car rate plus one dollar ($1.00) per flat rate hour.
Apprentice Mechanics. An apprentice will be paid his percentage of the premium rate if he is assigned a repair job falling within any of the above listings.
Apprentice Mechanics. 34 .01 The Company reserves the right to have apprentice mechanics .
Apprentice Mechanics. Shall be paid as per the Provincial program for apprentices.
