Application Format. In order that the Sabbatical Leave Committee may objectively evaluate each application, the following outline is offered. Individuals may offer additional material, but at a minimum should include the following in the application: A. Statement of Topic – This statement should frame the thesis of the proposal. B. Summary of Need – This section should explain how the proposal addresses the needs of students, the individual, the department(s), the College and/or the community. C. Evidence of Preparation and Commitment – This section should include information pertaining to professional background, interest, and goals.
