Common use of Applicable law, place of jurisdiction Clause in Contracts

Applicable law, place of jurisdiction. (1) These General Terms and the Agreements are subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany to the exclusion of UN purchasing law (CISG). (2) The only courts competent for all disputes about rights and obligations under these general Terms and the Agreements including their enforceability are the competent courts in our domicile. We are however also entitled to raise disputes in the general courts of the Contractor.
