Appeal Fee Clause Samples
The Appeal Fee clause establishes the requirement for a party to pay a specified fee when submitting an appeal within a contractual or procedural context. Typically, this fee must be paid at the time the appeal is filed, and the amount or method of calculation is often outlined in the agreement or related rules. The core function of this clause is to deter frivolous or excessive appeals by imposing a financial commitment, thereby ensuring that only serious and well-founded appeals are pursued.
