Anti-kickback Clause Samples
An anti-kickback clause prohibits parties from offering, giving, soliciting, or receiving any form of improper payment or incentive in connection with the contract. This typically applies to employees, agents, or subcontractors and covers actions such as bribes, gifts, or commissions intended to influence business decisions. By including this clause, the contract aims to prevent unethical conduct and ensure that all transactions are conducted fairly and in compliance with applicable laws, thereby reducing the risk of legal liability and reputational harm.
