Common use of Anti-kickback Clause in Contracts

Anti-kickback. A. No officer or employee of the County, having the power or duty to perform an official act or action related to this Agreement, shall have or acquire any interest in this Agreement, or have solicited, accepted or granted a present or future gift, favor, service, or other thing of value from or to any person involved in this Agreement. B. The Contractor warrants that it has not employed or retained any company or person, other than a bona fide employee working solely for the Contractor to solicit or secure this Contract and than it has not paid or agreed to pay any person, company, corporation, individual, or Firm, other than a bona fide employee working solely for the Contractor, any fee, commission, percentage, gift, or any other consideration contingent upon or resulting from the award or making of this Contract.
