Answer Prediction. Predicting the value of each data element involves the following steps: 1) Identifying target sentences that are likely to contain the answer; 2) Identifying candidate chunks in the sentences; 3) Filtering the chunks to generate candidate values; 4) Ranking candidate values to generate (raw) values; 5) Normalizing values; and 6) Aggregating values from multiple reports. The workflow is shown in Figure 4.3 (a).
