Common use of Amendment and Severability Clause in Contracts

Amendment and Severability. This Agreement may not be amended or otherwise modified except by an instrument in writing signed by both parties. All agreements and covenants herein contained in this Agreement are deemed to be severable, and in the event any portion of this Agreement is declared to be invalid, this Agreement shall be interpreted as if such invalid portion or covenant were severed and not contained herein, with all other terms of this Agreement remaining valid and binding on the parties hereto.
