Common use of Alternative Procedures Clause in Contracts

Alternative Procedures. Notwithstanding the arbitration procedure set forth above, for appeals of final disciplinary action a member may elect to utilize alternative hearing processes available pursuant to City Charter Section 76.1. A member electing such alternative procedures may not also utilize the Step 4 Arbitration procedures set forth in subsection 24.3 herein. Neither the member nor NCEA-SEIU, Local 1021 may elect such alternative procedures for non-disciplinary grievances.

Neither the member nor NCEA-SEIU, Local 1021 NPOA may elect such alternative procedures for non-disciplinary grievances.
