ALTERNATE BIDS. The Department will not be entertaining alternate bids on this project.
ALTERNATE BIDS. The A/E shall prepare the bidding documents to include all elements of the work. When the base bid design clearly exceeds the design budget, the A/E shall evaluate the components of the design and move any portion not essential to the function of the project to an alternate bid. All alternate bids shall be clearly identified on the PPCB form.
ALTERNATE BIDS. Do not submit alternate bids unless called for on the Bid Proposal Form or other documents. When alternate bids are requested the bidder must submit information to show that the proposed goods are comparable. This information needs to be submitted on paper; citation to Internet sites will be insufficient.
ALTERNATE BIDS. Alternate bids will not be considered unless called for. Each bid will be bid separately unless otherwise expressly requested in the contract document. Combination bids, that is bids on separate projects lumped together as a single bid or on all or none basis, will not be accepted unless the contract document expressly requests or permits same.
ALTERNATE BIDS. Bidders who have other items they wish to offer in lieu of or in addition to what is required by this solicitation shall submit a separate bid clearly marked “ALTERNATE BID”. Alternate bids will be deemed non-responsive and will not be considered for award. Such bids will, however, be examined prior to awarding the Contract contemplated herein and may result in either cancellation of all bids in order to permit rewriting of the solicitation to include the alternate items in a re-bid or the alternate items may be considered for future requirements.
ALTERNATE BIDS. If alternate bids are called for, the DISTRICT will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the lowest total of the bid prices on the base contract without consideration of the prices on the additive or deductive items.
ALTERNATE BIDS. Portions of the Work for which a Bidder must submit a separate Bid amount. Alternate Bid items may or may not be awarded at Metro's discretion.
ALTERNATE BIDS. If the Bidder wishes to offer an alternate to the specified item(s), s/he may do so, provided that s/he clearly indicates that the item(s) offered is an alternate and does not represent the alternate to be an equivalent, and further provided he accompany the alternate offer with full explanation and specification. Consideration of the alternate shall be at the sole discretion of the Director.
ALTERNATE BIDS. Alternate bids will not be considered unless called for.

Bidders are cautioned that any alternate bid, unless requested by the Township, or any changes, insertions, or omissions to the terms and conditions, specifications, or any other requirements of this bid, may be considered non-responsive and in the opinion of the Township, may result in rejection of the bid.
