Airspeed. Normal aircraft airspeed will be approximately 70kts, but this may vary in areas of rugged terrain. With a sampling rate of 1 second, spectrometer measurements are acquired approximately every 36 metres along the survey line. With a sampling rate of 10 times per second, magnetometer measurements are acquired every 3.6 metres along the survey line.
