Agency May Receive Later Delivery of Water Not Delivered. In the event of any discontinuance or reduction of delivery of project water pursuant to subdivision (a) of this article, the Agency may elect to receive the amount of annual entitlement which otherwise would have been delivered to it during such period under the water delivery schedule for that year at other times during the year or the succeeding year to the extent that such water is then available and such election is consistent with the State’s overall delivery ability, considering the then current delivery schedules of annual entitlement to all contractors.
