After a violation occurs; a. The incident will be treated by GIS as an in-school offense. b. The athlete’s parents will be informed and may be called in for a meeting if warranted c. The athlete may be removed/suspended from the team d. The athlete may be liable to disciplinary action as deemed necessary by the Athletics Director and the Head of School. The athlete will, at the very least, be on probation for a one year period. Any violations of the Athletic Code during that time will be cause for a one year suspension from participation in any athletic events.
