Common use of Admission Process Clause in Contracts

Admission Process. ESHC agrees that it and its physicians and/or medical staff will abide by the following notification procedures when patients are transported to Shore Health: the sending physician at ESHC shall contact the appropriate Emergency Department attending physician at Shore Health who will evaluate the patient and determine appropriate disposition. In the event there is one (1) ESHC physician treating two injured patients that require emergency care and no additional physician coverage at ESHC is available to such physician, the patient with the most serious injuries will be sent to the Emergency Department, and the patient with less serious injuries will be managed at ESHC; provided that ▇▇▇▇ shall utilize best efforts to notify Shore Health of such transfer in advance via telephone.
