Administrative Computing and Payroll Systems. The parties acknowledge that the Employer will be implementing new administrative computing and payroll systems. To ensure that the changes required by these systems are introduced and implemented in the most effective manner, the Union agrees to accept the University’s implementation and changes to business practices, procedures, and functions as are necessary to achieve such implementation (e.g. the change from a weekly to biweekly payroll system). The Employer and the Union will establish a special Labor-Management Committee made up of an equal number of Union representatives and Employer representatives. This committee shall be the sole forum for the parties to discuss any issues of impact to the bargaining unit arising from the implementation of the systems. The parties will reopen negotiations subject prior to implementing any change, which has the effect of reducing a unit member’s pay in any fiscal year. Nothing in this article is meant to waive any other provision in this Agreement.

Administrative Computing and Payroll Systems. The parties acknowledge that the University will be implementing new Administrative Computing Systems. To ensure that the changes required by these systems are introduced and implemented in the most effective manner, the Union agrees to support the University's implementation and accepts such changes to business practices, procedures, and functions as are necessary to achieve such implementation (e.g., the change from a weekly to biweekly payroll system). The University and the Union agree that all employees shall have their net salary checks electronically forwarded to an account or accounts selected by each employee. Given the current level of understanding of these proposals, the Union accepts them in principle providing that they become standard across the University, and can be demonstrated that such procedures are in keeping with the laws of the Commonwealth. The University and the Union will establish a special Labor Management Committee made up of an equal number of ESU representatives and management representatives. This committee shall be the sole forum for the parties to discuss any issues of impact to the bargaining unit arising from the implementation of the systems.

In order to ensure an orderly, fair, and effective implementation of any new systems, the University and the Union will establish a Special Labor- management Committee made up of an equal number of Union representatives and Management representatives. This committee shall be the sole forum for the parties to discuss and bargain over the impact of new computing and payroll systems including, a bi-weekly payroll cycle and any similar impacts.

Related to Administrative Computing and Payroll Systems

  • Administrative and Accounting Services The Administrator shall perform or supervise the performance by others of other administrative services in connection with the operations of the Portfolios, and, on behalf of the Trust, will investigate, assist in the selection of and conduct relations with custodians, depositories, accountants, legal counsel, underwriters, brokers and dealers, corporate fiduciaries, insurers, banks and persons in any other capacity deemed to be necessary or desirable for the Portfolios' operations. The Administrator shall provide the Trustees of the Trust with such reports regarding investment performance and compliance with investment policies and applicable laws, rules and regulations as they may reasonably request but shall have no responsibility for supervising the performance by any investment adviser or sub-adviser of its responsibilities. The Administrator may appoint a sub-administrator to perform certain of the services to be performed by the Administrator hereunder. The Administrator shall provide the Trust with administrative services, regulatory reporting, fund accounting and related portfolio accounting services, all necessary office space, equipment, personnel, compensation and facilities (including facilities for Shareholders' and Trustees' meetings) for handling the affairs of the Portfolios and such other services as the Trustees may, from time to time, reasonably request and the Administrator shall, from time to time, reasonably determine to be necessary to perform its obligations under this Agreement. In addition, at the request of the Trust's Board of Trustees (the "Trustees"), the Administrator shall make reports to the Trustees concerning the performance of its obligations hereunder. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Administrator shall:

  • Financial, Accounting, and Administrative Services The Manager shall maintain the existence and records of the Corporation; maintain the registrations and qualifications of Fund Shares under federal and state law; monitor the financial, accounting, and administrative functions of the Fund; maintain liaison with the various agents employed by the Corporation (including the Corporation’s transfer agent, custodian, independent accountants and legal counsel) and assist in the coordination of their activities on behalf of the Fund.

  • Additional Accounting Services Ultimus shall also perform the following additional accounting services for each Portfolio:

  • Tax Accounting Services (1) Maintain accounting records for the investment portfolio of the Fund to support the tax reporting required for “regulated investment companies” under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”).

  • Fund Accounting Services GFS may from time to time adopt procedures, or modify its procedures, to implement the terms of this Section. With respect to each Fund, GFS shall provide the following services subject to, and in compliance with, the objectives, policies and limitations set forth in the Trust’s Registration Statement, the Trust’s Agreement and Declaration of Trust, Bylaws, applicable laws and regulations, and resolutions and policies implemented by the Trust’s Board of Trustees (the “Board”):

  • Shareholder Account Maintenance a. Maintain all shareholder records for each account in the Trust.

  • Portfolio Accounting Services (1) Maintain portfolio records on a trade date+1 basis using security trade information communicated from the Fund’s investment adviser.

  • Expense Accrual and Payment Services (1) For each valuation date, calculate the expense accrual amounts as directed by the Trust as to methodology, rate or dollar amount.

  • Compensation and FUND ACCOUNTING Expenses FUND ACCOUNTING shall be paid as compensation for its services pursuant to this Agreement such compensation as may from time to time be agreed upon in writing by the two parties. FUND ACCOUNTING shall be entitled, if agreed to by the Fund on behalf of the Portfolio, to recover its reasonable telephone, courier or delivery service, and all other reasonable out-of-pocket, expenses as incurred, including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys' fees and reasonable fees for pricing services.
