Additional Vacation Leave. The Company shall, within five (5) business days of receipt of a written request by an employee, endeavour to respond with approval or denial of the request for vacation leave to be taken from the posted shift schedule. In cancelling vacation leave, the Company shall give the employee as much notice as is practicable and reasonable. In the case of denial, alteration or cancellation of the vacation leave, the Company shall give the written reason therefore, upon written request from the employee.
