Additional Services for H&H Study and Flood Plain Modeling Clause Samples

The "Additional Services for H&H Study and Flood Plain Modeling" clause defines the terms under which extra work related to hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) studies and flood plain modeling may be requested and performed beyond the original contract scope. This clause typically outlines the process for identifying, authorizing, and compensating such additional services, which might include tasks like updating floodplain maps, conducting new analyses, or responding to regulatory changes. Its core function is to provide a clear mechanism for addressing unforeseen or expanded project needs, ensuring both parties understand how extra work will be managed and paid for, thereby reducing disputes and maintaining project flexibility.
