Common use of Additional Release Clause in Contracts

Additional Release. Reliant as of the Settlement Effective Date, hereby releases each of the California Parties from all past, existing and future claims for civil damages and/or penalties and/or equitable relief, including disgorgement and restitution, or FERC relief concerning, pertaining to, or arising from, or relating to allegations that any California Party is liable for any additional payments to Reliant not provided for herein for congestion charges or for sales of natural gas, electric energy, or ancillary services during the Settlement Period.
